The Stadio Renzo Barbera saw Palermo secure a valuable 2:2 draw against Atalanta on wednesday evening. two minutes into the match, Vasquez turned the first penalty kick into a point, but Borriello managed to answer the threat with a successfully executed penalty kick of his own. After Paletta had put Atalanta in front, the slovene national team defender Aljaž Struna equalised from close range. Thus, he somehow made up for the penalty, which was his own fault, and proved that a bad start doesn't necessarily mean a bad overall performance.
