Slovenia U21 hosted Ireland U21 in the match of the 7th round of group 2 qualifications for EURO. The Slovenian team took the lead on 14 minutes when senior international Luka Krajnc turned home a corner at the back post. The Irish team fell further behind 10 minutes after the break when Sean Long conceded a penalty to allow Bajde, the player represented by our agency, to double Slovenia's lead. Our own Bajde scored from the penatly spot and proved once again his advancing skills. The Irish were handed a lifeline when Callum O'Dowda's shot from range snuck under the goalkeeper. But an expertly taken free-kick saw Miha Zajc restore the two goal cushion and guarantee Slovenia all three points. However, Slovenian team played very well in this qualifications, currently they are on 2ndplace with 15 points. Their both loses in this qualifications are against Italy, while in previous round they managed to beat Serbia with 2-0.
