Even some English clubs were interested in him. Petar was the youngest member, who ever played for Slovenia A and gathered three performances. 21 -year-old Verbič also played some phenomenal matches in NK Celje. This season he scored already 12 goals and 8 assists and is thus the second shooter of the league. Consequently he falls one goals behind Tavares. Stojanovic as well Verbic debuted in a match against Colombia. In latter are also interested a lot of clubs from Europe.
